Push Notifications

The Push Notifications feature in the Zennio Remote application allows users to receive real-time alerts related to alarm events (activation, confirmation, or deactivation) of the paired devices. These notifications are designed to ensure that users can manage events remotely, even when the app is not active in the foreground.

Main Features​

  • Real-Time Reception:
    Popup messages are sent to the mobile device or computer as soon as an alarm event occurs, regardless of whether the application is running or not.

    • By tapping the notification, the app opens and shows a list of devices with pending alarms, marked with the icon .

  • Remote Management:
    Through the notification, users can access the affected device to manage the event remotely from any compatible device.

Requirements and Considerations​

Notification Setup​

  • Push notifications must be enabled in the operating system settings for both mobile devices and computers.
  • It is recommended to consult the technical documentation of the device or operating system manufacturer to ensure that push notifications are correctly configured.

Internet Connection​

  • Push notifications require an internet connection on both the synchronized device and the mobile device or computer.
  • In case of a connection loss:
    • Pending notifications will be sent as soon as the device regains internet access.
    • If the mobile device or computer is turned off, notifications will appear when it is powered on and the connection is restored.

Limitations​
