Voice Control Assistants

A voice assistant is a third-party device that, through its own application, allows controlling and monitoring home automation devices of a user. This is achieved by linking the assistant's account with the Zennio Remote user account.

Alexa​

Prerequisites​

  • A KNX installation with a compatible touchscreen (version 3.4 or higher).
  • The Zennio Remote application must be installed.
  • The Amazon Alexa application must be installed.
  • A registered Zennio Remote account with a username and password.
  • The touchscreen with a ZenVoice license must be paired in the Zennio Remote application.
  • The desired control must be configured on the touchscreen as a voice-controllable device.

Instructions​

  1. Search for the ZenVoice skill in the Amazon Alexa app and add it. . To do this, tap More → Skills & Games. Select the ZenVoice skill and tap Enable to Use.
  2. A window will appear requesting the credentials for the Zennio Remote account.
  3. Once authenticated, Alexa will be able to detect and control the devices configured through ZenVoice.

After activating the skill, the authentication will be valid for a period of 10 years. After this time, it will be necessary to deactivate and reactivate the skill to log in again.

Available Languages​

The ZenVoice skill is available in the following languages:

  • English (GB, US, IN, AU)
  • Spanish (ES)

  • Italian (IT)

Google Home​

Prerequisites​

  • A KNX installation with a compatible touchscreen (version 3.5 or higher).
  • The Zennio Remote application must be installed.
  • The Google Home application must be installed.
  • A registered Zennio Remote account with a username and password.
  • The touchscreen with a ZenVoice license must be paired in the Zennio Remote application.
  • The desired control must be configured on the touchscreen as a voice-controllable device.

Instructions​

  1. Search for ZenVoice Action in Google Home and add it. . To do this, tap Devices → Add device → Works with Google Home, then select ZenVoice from the list.
  2. A window will appear requesting the credentials for the Zennio Remote account.
  3. Once authenticated, Google Home will be able to detect and control the devices configured through ZenVoice.

You must have created at least one voice-controllable device to add the ZenVoice Google Action to Google Home.

After activating the Google Action, the authentication will be valid for a period of 10 years. After this time, it will be necessary to deactivate and reactivate the Google Action to log in again.

Available Languages​

The ZenVoice Google Action is available in all languages supported by Google, including at least the same ones as the Alexa skill.

Yasmina​

Prerequisites​

  • A KNX installation with a compatible touchscreen (version 4.0 or higher).
  • The Zennio Remote application must be installed.
  • The Yango Play application must be installed.
  • A registered Zennio Remote account with a username and password.
  • The touchscreen with a ZenVoice license must be paired in the Zennio Remote application.
  • The desired control must be configured on the touchscreen as a voice-controllable device.

Instructions​

  1. Search for ZenVoice in the Yango Play app and add it. To do this, tap Manage Smart Home → + → Smart Home Device. Select ZenVoice and tap Link to Yango.
  2. A window will appear requesting the credentials for the Zennio Remote account.
  3. Once authenticated, Yasmina will be able to detect and control the devices configured through ZenVoice.

Authentication in Yasmina will be valid for 10 years. After this period, re-authentication will be required.

ZenVoice is available in all languages supported by Yasmina:

  • English (GB, US, IN, AU)
  • Arabic (SA)

Алиса (Alice)​

Prerequisites​

  • A KNX installation with a compatible touchscreen (version 4.0 or higher).
  • The Zennio Remote application must be installed.
  • The Дом с Алисой application must be installed.
  • A registered Zennio Remote account with a username and password.
  • The touchscreen with a ZenVoice license must be paired in the Zennio Remote application.
  • The desired control must be configured on the touchscreen as a voice-controllable device.

Instructions​

  1. Search for ZenVoice in the Дом с Алисой app and add it. To do this, tap Управление умным домом → + → Устройство умного дома. Select ZenVoice and tap Объединить учетные записи.
  2. A window will appear requesting the credentials for the Zennio Remote account.
  3. Once authenticated, Алиса will be able to detect and control the devices configured through ZenVoice.

Authentication in Алиса will be valid for 10 years. After this period, re-authentication will be required.
